Vestia Community Trust supported The Walshes Community Hall Action Group to host an Open Day at Walshes Community Hall on Saturday 27th October from 3-5pm.
The Action Group invited members of the community to view the newly decorated facilities. 20 local children entered the Spooky Fancy Dress Competition and won prizes donated by Mr Perry from Londis and Stourport’s Mid Counties Cooperative. The group raised £25 on the raffle, the prize of a huge Cadbury’s chocolate hamper was kindly donated by Hazel Yates from Friends of Areley Kings Village Hall.
The tombola attracted many, prizes were funded and donated by Walshes Tenant Consultative Committee and Half Crown Wood Children’s Centre. Refreshments were provided by volunteers from St. Bartholomew’s Church.
